Lax Spot is an online social networking service that connects lacrosse players, coaches and fans, creating a new resource that's based on a trusted web of your friends and associates.
Getting started is quick and easy. Click on the Sign Up link on the home page and enter your information. You will then receive a confirmation email that contains a code that you must enter on the sign up page. ALternatively, you can click on the link in the email. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes make sure to check your Spam or Junk folder. If you do not receive the email within an hour please contact us. Once you have signed up you should complete your profile, as much or as little information as you want to provide. Then, invite more friends to join Lax Spot, create a group of your friends and you'll be on your way to connecting your lacrosse network.You can then start your own blog, use the forum, post videos, classifieds, events, and comments
Once you've registered with Lax Spot, you'll invite people you know to join your social or business network. Your friends will come to Lax Spot and invite their friends. As your network grows, you'll have more opportunities to interact easily with everyone you know, make new acquaintances, and use the network's collective knowledge to enrich your life. Social networks are the heart and soul of Lax Spot; the larger they are, the more powerful they become. Best of all, everyone in your network has been invited, approved and recommended by someone else inside your social circle.
Your network consists of your friends (people you know), as well as people 2 connections or closer (friends of your friends), and people 3 connections or closer (people who know friends of your friends). The larger your network becomes, the more useful and fun it will be; keep growing your network, and you'll have access to more classifieds, messages, clubs and events.
Every page on the Lax Spot site has an invite link that lets you send messages to your friends who have not joined yet. You can email customized message that describes Lax Spot. When you find a friend at Lax Spot, you can add them through the "Add to Friends" link on the right.
Email notifications are sent to you when you receive a request from a friend or invitation to join a group or other resource. This is done as a convenience to you to let you know. However, if you wish to not receive these notifications you can turn them off by clicking on My Lax Spot then Account and un checking the check box that says "Send me email notification about new messages and invitation."
